Is that russian/soviet tanker helmet? And that overall, is that real military issues too?

The cap/helmet is russian, is made in the cold war, I bought it from a trader after the break down of he berlin wall..The overall is only acheaper repro, the problem is to get russian tanker clothes in bigger sizes, they had mostly short tankers ;-) But I had asecond poverall in sand colour , condition new, used by british pilots, will convert that for my role too..

Hehe, yes I know, in mid of the year I took part on a military exercise, as an OPFOR motorized rifleman with a BMP1, small at all....;-)

I think its a good international mix up of equipment, boots and suit are US, cap are russian, pistol are british inspirred...if you go to much for one nation, it makes to much distance to warhammer, cause everyone could recognize it. But in future there will be a other HALO Elysian as an night intruder specalist with new camo and other chute.

I mostly agree! First, again, amazing job. I myself have often wondered if I had what it took to whip up a Commisar outfit (prolly not). I have always found 40K to allow for a lot of diversity, and enjoy picking out the details they pull from the various real-world inspirations. But yeah, you have a point. Pull to much entirely and it simply becomes a strangely named real thing. Anyway. Great stuff! And I recognized the flightsuit.
