this is sick! i wish more people knew about the elysian drop troops. they make the cadians look out of date. the lasgun and the helmet look fantastic! and i dig the jetpack too!

But you are right, the elysians looks like very special modern troops, thats the reason why I like them..

But its not a jetpack, its only a gravchute..its a simple version without the skill to go up..only go slowly(relatively ;-)) down

very true! i have seen some neat desert storm marine corps style cadians and this cool idea going around of people using green stuff to model carapace armor onto the legs so they look more like a military outfit instead of a conscripted militia. i know that essentially what the imperial gaurd are but the elysian drop troops look soo badass and uniform, heck even the cadian kasrkin shock troops and the storm troopers look cool. im just not a fan of the whole world war 1 look that they have. i wish gamesworkshop would change the mold to something more like with the respirators or like this [link]

I know the nice artwork which you had linked, its in my favs..;-)
Its a very cool design indeed.
I doŽnt know how he handles both two handed weapons but it looks cool ...

This is some really fantastic work and just all around awesome. Seriously great stuff, you should really be proud because this just looks utterly fantastic. Is that meant to be a bullpup lasrifle with a shotgun as back-up? And an underslung grenade launcher? I am just blown away. Congrats on a great piece of work.

My primary weapon in this equipment and role is the lasrifle with the mounted single shot 40mm grenade launcher (against the warhammer40k universe codex, I using airburst ammo too). My secondary weapon is a shortend pump gun (only with pistol grip) as breecher weapon and life saver...
The bullpub weapon with the added shotgun is done for one of my other (later comin)elysian role.
