Suit ? Bigger? häää?
No armplates in any way by elysian troops, only elbow protection plates, I had a pair but doīnt use them cause there are very uncomfortable to wear during the weaon handling.

weapon handling is one thing but fighting in unpredictable conditions requires least that some basic protection should be given to top parts of body, not to mention of head or neck. I do understand that Cadians or any "Shock" troops are deployed in warzone but necessary gear should be dropped instantly with them (drop pods) or they should rely on gear that they have ON them ( plasma, melta guns, grenades, backpacks, medkits etc.) War doctrine says that these units should be deployed behind enemy lines or as a support to rear strike force, never as a main s.f. ( this includes guardsman, vehicles, etc. )
I might be wrong.
The fighting way of elysians is not the same as the cadians...have you ever tried to slide on the ground with kasrkin armour ? I do...one of the badest idea I had.
Using cover and be swift and excellent weapons training, (they use no auto firing weapons)are the strength of the droptroops ( in that way I had understood the background)
I never read something like drop extra armour in the drop pods.
But in real life , I agree with you all over armour is better than only small chest armour and knee protection
I'm curious about the helmet, how did you make it? Did you use some helmet as a basis? If so, which one?
Is complete self done and welded, using seperate steel sheets (1-1,5mm thickness)
Its not so easy cause of the curves and the ankles.
I know that this helmet does not exist, but I was just thinking that maybe you converted some kind of sports helmet.
I am an airsofter and a Warhammer 40K fan, and I am willing to create my own Elysian loadout for active airsofting. Your loadout is, by far, the best reference that I've seen. So I just wanted to get some tips
You've put a lot of effort in creating your loadout and it shows.
Its not my way cause Iīm a steel nerd and metalworker
